Our Favourite Outdoor Living Projects

As part of our 10 year celebrations, we've been looking back at all of our cedar shingle and thatched building projects, and picking out our favourites, so here are Joni & Craigs highlights...

The Original - Craig, Director

Craigs favourite outdoor living project is our first ever Lapa! 

Built in his own garden it holds fond memories for him of starting the business, and understanding from a practical perspective what this journey of building The Lapa Company was really going to entail!

Craig still uses it on a regular basis with his family and didn't hesitate to choose it when asked for his favourite!

 

 

The Most Recent - Joni, Marketing

One of Jonis favourites is one of our most recent projects; a poolside cabanna and thatched umbrella.  Chosen because its simplicity is deceptive, at a glance a 'simple' shelter, but the project actually required bespoke cabinetry, a built-in bar, fireplace, bespoke uprights, bespoke umbrella table and more...but to top it off the customer is thrilled with it, and at the end of the day, that's the most important thing.
